An amazing day to all of you success-minded salespeople and businesspeople! With each day that passes we get further from our failures and closer to our dreams … but you MUST participate in the process if you expect to have a shot at victory!

In our business, as in life, there are certain basic ‘measuring sticks’ that we need to continually use to gauge our effectiveness, progress, and overall success. I am sure that there are many more that we could look at, but here are just a few that I would definitely recommend that you review and use on a daily or weekly basis:

–How many hours did I actually spend today in productive activity?

–How many people did I actually speak to and have a ‘real estate conversation’ with?

–What amount of time did I spend thinking about or focusing on my overall goals?

–How much time did I spend bettering myself through reading or learning?

–How much fun did I allow myself to have with the process today?

–How many people did I have a definite, positive impact on today?

As I said, we could probably add 100 more questions, or ‘measuring sticks’, to this list to use in evaluating the use of our time and energy in any given day. How much of a difference would it make in your outlook on the future and to your ability to make a bigger impact on those around you if you stopped and evaluated more often?

Just like the quality control division of any manufacturer, we would benefit greatly from coming up with a standard list of questions to review each and every day or at LEAST several times a week. So what would get in the way of you actually doing this?

How about you decide right now that you, your family, your business, and your customers are worth the effort to develop this habit and start today … this is just one more opportunity for you to make today count!
