Good morning once again to all of you superstar salespeople and businesspeople! You are truly in a place where massive success can and IS happening all around you—the number of people who will be doing business in the near future in YOUR marketplace is abundant and ~your~ ability to stand out above the competition is as easy as ‘practice, focus, execute’!

Based on so much of the feedback that I get and the questions that I am asked, I felt like it would be helpful to spend several days reviewing a number of the real estate sales ‘basics’ … simple, common thoughts and practices that seem to be the guideposts to that massive success I mentioned a moment ago. Let’s start with this thought: almost every agent that I’ve ever seen do something amazing in this business had that pivotal moment when they realized that they were sick and tired of not having more.

There came that moment when the decision was made that enough was enough and I’m not settling for just getting by … being just ‘okay’ … having just enough. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard, “I just got sick and tired of being sick and tired!” Have you been saying that lately? If so, the good news is that you’ve taken the first step toward greatness.

The point is, you just have to want it. Want what, James? Want ANYTHING other than the results you’re currently getting! More control, more salable listings, more closed deals … more opportunities to make a difference in people’s lives. As my mentor once said, “too many agents just seem to be content warming up for death!” Hey—let’s get clear … there is a LOT more available to you if you really want it and you’re willing to make some changes to get it. Do you … ARE you?

So let’s just leave it there for today. All change begins with an awareness that change is needed and a willingness to do something different. What needs to change in your business model? What is ONE thing you can do today to begin that process? I would love to hear about it!

In the meantime, you know what time it is … time to get out there and make today count!
